A Conceptual Framework for Road Safety Education using Serious Games with a Gesture-based Interaction Approach

Road accidents among children are one of the factors that cause mortality. An interactive manual has been developed to solve problem. However, reports show most road safety programs displayed conventionally and unsuitable for almost all target users. In order minimise negative effect on primary school students, early prevention need be set up overcome The natural user interface is a current technology could implemented in education. Thus, this research aims develop conceptual framework by integrating gesture-based interaction serious games towards education, which will hopefully meet syllabus tackle students. All proposed elements identified through systematic literature review existing theories model analysis supported experts’ review. This research’s main finding engagement education with approach. would reference designers or developers build an application considering interaction, learning theory, at same time.
